Haverstraw, NY
Rolled in to Haverstraw NY late, having waited out yet another burst of rain, unforecast morning thunderstorm. Hot and hazy all the way - although seeing the Hudson from the water is very beautiful, nothing memorable on the leg except views of the city in our rear view - At Haverstraw docked next to a guy from Austin TX who’s on the loop too, and has been traveling solo since December where he started in Luka, Mississippi on the Tombigbee River! Brave and impressive…but probably peaceful because he has no one yapping in his ear all day (aka- Ann) LOL
☺️ After sweating off a few pounds tying up the lines, we went inside, cranked the a/c, and had a cocktail! A highlight of the day and game changer for small galley meal prep, was trying our new Ninja Air Fryer - another Paige recommendation! Thought kids were suppose to learn things from their parents - not the other way around. Tomorrow on the Hudson should be beautiful.
