Belleville, ON, CN

After two nights in Trenton where we enjoyed a good Italian dinner at Tomasso’s and another fabulous lunch at The Counter, we made the short cruise to Belleville. It was still hot and hazy for two days so Will washed the boat to get rid of some of the lock grime.

Belleville was very quiet and closed for a Saturday afternoon, actually disappointing. The only place we wanted to visit, the Glanmore Mansion, was too far to walk or ride a bike do to the heat and scorching sun. We did walk into the Main Street which was pretty but, as we said, very closed up and quiet for a Saturday afternoon. The pics below show the town and a monument to the United Empire Loyalists.
