Midland, ON, CA

We ended up spending 17 nights in Midland, Ontario at Wye Heritage Marina before beginning our travels up Georgian Bay. After we arrived at Midland, Will drove Ann to Toronto to fly to Connecticut to see our grandson. Will stayed with the boat, completed a couple of projects and worked with the marina to get some badly needed cosmetic work done on the boat (which included the new red stripe and larger logo on the flybridge!). Unfortunately, that work started later than planned so 10 nights in Midland turned into 17.

Ann was in Connecticut on July 1st, which is Canada Day, so Will went to a local Midland lake to join in the Canada Day celebrations and fireworks.

We made the most of our extended stay, drove around a bit in the farm country because we had a car, tried some of the local cuisine, and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets that seemed to appear every evening in perfect view.
