Clayton, NY
The lake crossing was like gliding on bath water today - Saw a few boats here and there but not much to see except wide horizon until we got to the other side. This section of NY is called the 1000 islands and the water ways are littered with little islands -Some inhabited and others with just greenery. We docked in Clayton at the French Bay Marina, and are staying for two nights in the slip of some friends we made (Gary and Connie)at the Waterford Marina. Clayton is their home port and they had to stay back in Waterford for some boat repairs and kindly offered us their slip for a couple days. 🙏🏻 thank you!
Clayton was a great stop and we stayed two nights. Great shops, Antique Boat Museum, and ice cream.
