Second day in Orillia, productive, with nice weather and a little walk around town. We replenished our fridge and freezer, visited the well-known Mariposa Market best known for its ridiculous selection of baked goods, fudge, jellies, jams, sauces and anything else you could want, and capped off the evening with a great dinner at a new (eight weeks since opening) Mexican restaurant that promised and delivered authentic Mexican food. In the pics you can see what happens to your bicycle if you leave it outside too long, it gets turned into art and mounted on a pedestal.

Last night’s sunset was spectacular. Also, there’s a lighted outline of the Canadian flag on the barrier island that we didn’t even notice until after sunset. If you look closely at the picture of the stern of Knot Supersonic, you can see it in the center.

Tomorrow off to Big Chute Railway, one of the major highlights of the Trent-Severn Waterway.
