Bobcaygeon, ON, CA

We went to the Grill at Burleigh Falls Inn for breakfast and enjoyed it. It was fun to get off the boat for a couple of hours and take an early walk. We were in no hurry to depart the lock wall today because of arrival timing at our next stop.

So, it was a pretty easy day to Gordon’s Yacht Harbour Marina in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. We returned to Gordon’s again after spending three nights on their fuel dock last year after we dinged a propeller.

Carlo and Angel have put their heart and soul into this marina and it shows. New docks, now pumping diesel fuel, an astounding bar unlike any other in Bobcaygeon. They will be serving food very soon. It is a great stop. Because it is still so early in the season, and during the middle of the week, they have graciously offered for us to stay two nights in anticipation of thunderstorms and winds on Thursday.

We still ran into shallow waters with lots of grass and safely passed under the lowest bridge on the Waterway but, other than that, the day was uneventful and straightforward.
